Welcome to my website!
I'm a PhD candidate in economics at Tilburg University. I'm expected to graduate in 2018. I am on the job market this year and will be available for interviews at the 2018 ASSA meetings in Philadelphia.
My main research area is behavioral and experimental economics. I use theories, experiments and field data to explore how people make decisions in labs and in the real life. Currently I am working on projects about time preferences and dynamic choices. The goal is to improve our understanding of how people make (familiar and unfamiliar) decisions in the long-run. Questions include how people make intertemporal choices in various domains, how past choices change one's beliefs and preferences, and how environments and incentives affect habit formation.
